I believe older and more established Alumni are the key...

They tend to have disposable income.

You could do a joint effort with the ECU Alumni Association where "to be members" sign up or renew with the Alumni Association and Offer a deal where they can sign up for both at once...ECU Alumni Association & Pirate Club Simultaneously. Maybe call it the "Pirate Palooza".

Push the scholarship angle for players and offer special events during the year where Palooza Members (and existing PC and Alumni Association) can meet players, obtain discount tickets, win surplus jerseys and memorabilia, meet coaches, attend concert or cookout events, etc. Make sure you announce this at every Freeboot Friday as well. Sign people up on site at the Freeboot and create an App to sign up as well. Also, mention it at every football game.

As a big picture consideration, different stages in life mean different appeal factors. Young singles, young married, married with young kids, married with older kids, empty nest couples, older couples, and divorced folks which is why social events are key.

Also, would be interesting to know the statistics on the season ticket PC members based on where they live. Maybe create an incentive program for adding new members to the PC (comp tickets, hotel package for Friday and Saturday on game weekends, dinner at a downtown restaurant, access to the field house on game day, etc).
