If Wichita St to the AAC, will they be able to recruit as they do now?
Looking at their roster and noticed one similar to what Memphis back in the CUSA/Calipari days.
They only have 7 guys that came straight from traditional high schools. The other 9 are JUCO, academy players and a transfer from Kansas.
Four of the academy players came from the same school, Sunrise Christian Academy right there in Wichita!
Nothing against these kids by no means. All seemed to be decent young men and very good sports, but typically if you went JUCO or to an academy, you had trouble meeting NCAA entrance requirements. I believe this will be an issue in the AAC?
I am sure Greg Marshall has enough recruiting credit now to get kids that don't have to go the JUCO/Academy route, but will this be an issue?
